Mainely Local Yolks: Beloved Berwick Breakfast Spot for Hearty, Homemade Meals

My sister and I stopped in for an excellent breakfast! I had the Sawmill Benny and she had the banana bread french toast Both meals were amazing, piping hot and served pretty quickly. Great coffee also. The waitress was very friendly I can't wait to come back!

This is a pretty popular place for breakfast I have been here numerous times and I have always had plenty of food the omelettes are very big and very good I always end up taking half of it home. They have the best sour dough bread. The waitstaff are always accommodating and the prices are very reasonable. It's definitely where the local yolks (folks) gather.

Everything was prepared flawlessly and the service was exceptional. My breakfast, including the tip, was reasonably priced at $20. I opted for the 2x2x2 French toast, bacon, eggs over easy, and it was outstanding. I would highly recommend this establishment to locals in the Seacoast area of New Hampshire and Maine. If you're looking for an old fashioned breakfast place I recommend this place 100%.

Good food, great selection, excellent service! A friend recommended this spot, and I finally went—and wow, she wasn’t kidding. The menu was huge and a little overwhelming (in the best way), but with her pointers I settled on the El Paso omelet with their homemade cinnamon bread. Delicious! I’m a picky omelet person, and while the cheese came on top instead of inside, it still tasted fantastic. The atmosphere was cozy, and the service was friendly and quick. I loved that the restaurant shares a building with the Post Office—plenty of free parking, easy access, and super quick table turnover, so no long waits. All around, a great breakfast spot I’ll definitely return to! Sorry no photos to share

This place is by far the best breakfast/ lunch spot, we bring our kids here and they love it!! The staff is incredible and really get to know customers and make you feel at home. I’ve never had a bad meal, the cranberry walnut chicken salad wrap is a go too of mine! My partner always goes for a Benny! If you are looking for a meal made with care and served with love this definitely a place to check out!!

Absolutely perfect breakfast! Wait time was very brief, and the service was incredibly fast for a busy Sunday morning. We each got a “yolklette.” The portion sizes are enormous and the prices are very reasonable. Our leftovers felt like a second meal! Cali and Isle omelettes were both delicious. Will definitely be back!

Great place to eat. The food was delicious, especially the potatoe cakes. The servings were good size. Staff was very nice.

We were in the area and stopped here because we heard great things. It did not disappoint!! Amazing prices, great people and seriously all locals. We got lobster benedict, a double lobster roll meal, and a Greek salad with chicken. We took the lobster rolls home because we were so full, but best price around. The Benedict was full of lobster with perfectly cooked eggs. Greek salad was fresh and big and delicious. Can't wait to go back.
